My husband and I will be moving into a two bedroom apartment soon and that equals a home office for us to share. Currently, we have a workstation cramped into our master bedroom, where Hassaan works out of (plays computer games) when he’s at home. You will find me in the background, snuggled under a blanket with my trusty laptop, milling away. In order to navigate to Hassaan’s side of the bed you have to hop over a small table, a filing cabinet which will probably nick your shin, and wrestle a homeless tripod.
Can you imagine my excitement? Let’s just say there was a very animated Fariha fist-pumping across the leasing office. We can use this guy for reference:
So while Hassaan was pouring over the paperwork and figuring out logistics, I was already dreaming up this gorgeous airy office with creams and golds and crisp whites with bursts of color to anchor it. Now, bear in mind, husband and I will be sharing this space, so one side will have wires and cables and loose papers and a clunky desktop computer while the other half will be the complete opposite. Sharing is caring, right?
Anyway, I’ve been looking up ideas for my dream home office- I figured that’s a good place to start since I can always look for more feasible options once I know what I want. In the next few posts I’ll share some mood boards I made for key home office elements and gold home office accents. I promise they’re really cool.
